'I had this skull and bones image pop into my head the other night and I was trying to figure out a way to use it for something... and then I thought of the haunting of hill house image, which is a story I've always wanted to make some piece of art for. I figured it might be fun to make some covers for a few of my favorite horror/ghost stories.' M.S.Corley
I really like the colour palette Corley has accustomed to this set of illustrations. I think it communicates the genre well, it has that eerie, creepy atmosphere that horror authors strive to achieve.
